Will I be able to recover my file or files? Yes, but the answer is mostly determined by time. The longer you wait before scanning and recovering your files, the greater the chance that the files will be overwritten. No matter how long it has been since your file was erased, we recommend that everyone run a free scan. There are cases where the deleted file can be recovered after many months.
Is it difficult to recover deleted files? Will I need lots of computer experience? No. Emergency File Recover recommends scanning and recovering with Data Recovery Pro. This software has been designed to make the scan and file recover process as easy as possible. For a Quick scan, only one click is necessary to start, and a couple more to finish the recover process. No special computer knowledge or experience is required.
How long will it take to scan my hard drive/memory card, and how long to recover my file? This is largely controlled by the size and amount of data on your hard drive, memory card, or USB device. A large hard drive on an older computer, with lots of deleted files to scan through could take a few hours. A smaller and newer hard drive, with less space and fewer erased file to scan, will be far faster. Memory cards and USB devices tend to scan quite quickly. The Data Recovery Pro software also includes a Quick Scan as well as a Full Scan, for a speedier recovery of your files.
Can I search for one specific file that was erased? Yes. Data Recovery Pro includes advances scanning technology which allows you to type in text to search for. You can enter the name of a file that was deleted, or text within a document that was erased. For example, if you lost a photo called wedding.jpg, you could search for "Wedding", or if you lost specific Word document about business accounting, you could search for "January Expenses". Data Recovery Pro. will then hunt for the text of the specific file, making it easier to recover.
Can I recover erased emails? Yes. Data Recovery Pro can restore deleted emails from Outlook, Outlook Express, and Windows Mail. Like above, you can search for specific text or titles in an email to make recovery easier.
